POSITION SUMMARY:

Houdek Manufactuing seeks a Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor having responsibility for the efficient use of the warehouse space, accuracy of the inventory, and the supervision of the warehouse technicians. Ensuring the warehouse is well organized and kept clean. This position is responsible for tracking the inventory of the warehouses and at the facility. Will interact with all levels of the facility. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.

JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for making sure sales orders are shipped on time. General warehouse operations and technician duties. Recording and verifying data in the ERP system, including inventory counts, production, and shipment info. Performing physical and cycle counts. Keeping the warehouse organized and general cleaning.

• Supervising warehouse technicians
• Loading and unloading trucks; inspecting for damage and reporting damage as necessary
• Picking/staging orders as needed
• Performing daily, weekly, monthly inspections and audits
• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the work area.
• Operating equipment in a safe manner
• Maintaining a safe, compliant work area
• Completing documentation as required
• Conducting physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Staging finished product for loading
• Other duties assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of general shipping and inventory processes desirable
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keen attention to detail.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite desired
• Experience with ERP/MRP system desired
  • GP Dynamics a plus
• Experience with 3rd party shipping system desired
• The ability to lift a minimum of 30-55 pounds is required.
